An introduction to Being Your Best for Managers
The Being Your Best for Managers course provides attendees with an introduction to inclusive leadership, its core components, and the importance of leading inclusively to create an inclusive organisation.
Attendees will learn about what the principals of inclusive leadership, the cost of disregarding the importance of inclusion and inclusive behaviours, as well as how to embed inclusive leadership at every level of your organisation.

Being Your Best for Managers | Inclusive Leadership Practices (Training series x3)
To gain a better awareness and understanding of our unconscious biases is the first step to better, more inclusive behaviours. Using a combination of the latest research, relevant case studies and discussion, this training is designed to help people recognise their own unconscious bias, understand how it may impact decision making and take action to change their approach.
- Inclusive Leadership for Managers (Session 1: Leading Self)
The first training session in the Being Your Best for Managers Practices is centred on the manager themselves to increase their self- awareness in relation to inclusion and covers the ‘Leading Self’ theme. The following topics are covered in session 1:
- Unconscious bias
- Psychological Safety & Trust
- Self-Reflection
- Cultural Curiosity

- Inclusive Leadership for Managers (Session 2: Leading Others)
The second training session in the Being Your Best for Managers Practices is centred on ‘Leading Others’, and shares both theory and best practices in relation to creating inclusive leadership behaviours. The following topics are covered in session 2:
- Inclusive Communication
- Leading remote/hybrid teams
- Effective and empathic listening
- Critical conversations

- Inclusive Leadership for Managers (Session 3: Leading Culture)
The third and final training session in the Being Your Best for Managers Practices is centred on ‘Leading Culture’ and shares both theory and best practices in relation to creating inclusive workplaces. The following topics are covered in session 3:
- Values
- Organisational Citizenship
- Effective Followership
- Vision Casting
